Did a search but all I found was a sticky "Tire Bible" mainly talked about Toyo R888 on 18x11s.

I am wanting to buy some new BFG KDW tires for the rear of my AFS Cobra 10.5s wheels. I don't want to go larger than 315s. I had 315 Toyo DRs they worked but I had to be really careful on bumps would scrape if I hit a unexpected dip @ 30mph or above.

I was hoping for a 305 but been told by Discount tire that they do not come in that size? Wanted to keep the same style and brand tires and all four corners. I am running 265-35s KDW up front.
My question now is will a 295 work on that 10.5in rim or will they look to small?

the 295's will have slight stretch to them. Yes there arent any 305's for 18 that are street tires.

There are 295/35 and 295/30...the 35 series will help the against stretch and still look meaty..google 295/35/18 on 10.5 rim then click images lots o pics

305 for an 18 will not be a street tire, drag radial only.

I've got 295s on my 18x10.5 FR500s, one sec lemme get a photo.

IMO they need to be wider but like said above there isn't an option for 305

I had kumho 295 and they were stretched. My pilot sport 315 look perfect on my afs 10.5. I was given an old pair of pilot sport 335 with a little life on them. Going to mount those on my new series1 10.5 and see how they look this spring. But with probably go 315 again when I buy new

thank you everyone for the quick response, pics and recommendations, really appreciated. They don't look bad at all just a little stretched. Does BFG make a DR in a 305? BTW "gettwisted" your car looks sweet. very clean looking.

gotta actually look at tire sizes. some run bigger/smaller than others. i picked 295 continental extreme dw tires cause they run on the larger side, bigger than the 295 bfg kdws and closer in size to 305 toyo r888s.

If you don't want a Drag Radial you can run the Toyo R888 in 305/35/18 and they'll fit the wheel properly.

You are absolutely correct on that! I ran those continentals on my wifes GT with 18x10 saleen reps and they where wider. I just didn't like the tread pattern, I got a good deal on them that's why I purchased them. They lasted a long time too!

If you don't want a Drag Radial you can run the Toyo R888 in 305/35/18 and they'll fit the wheel properly.

I didn't want to mismatch the wheels kind of "anal" when it comes to stuff like that, but I might look into the R888s if they fill out a little more.

That looks good. Were you still running 17's in the front? I'm looking to fill my rears a bit but really don't want to go to a 315 while still keeping my stock 17's in the front. Either that or just keep my stockers and go with a 3/4" spacer. I'm seeing that the G-Force 295-18's have a diameter of 26.1 vs 25.7 stock. Is that very noticeable?

305/35/18 R888 fits amazingly. No rub, no bolts/fenders/spacers needed. Get wet traction. Will never buy another rear tire

I ended up purchasing the KDW 295s they look good, but I think I will purchase the R888s in 305 next time. My 315 toyos DRs looked so much more aggressive from the rear.

I have had proxy 888 on a 10.5 inch rim in 305, 315 and 335 wide with HR race springs and 3/8 inch spacer and low pro IRS bolt with no issue and no fenders rolled. 335 had to much bulge IMHO, but the 305 and 315 proxy 888 fit just fine.
