best street tire for the money

Myself and a few other guys I auto-x with use the Bridgestone Potenza RE-750s. I like em. They grip well for a tire that has a treadwear rating of 340.

BFG KDW`s NT

If you are going to go with the BFG`s, . make sure to get the KDW`s NT, ......... NT ......... that means new thread design.

I put a complete set of Khumos, 275/40/17 on my 03 Cobra. They were every bit as good or better than the original Goodyears. That is not to say that Yoko's, Pilots, or BFG"s wouldn't have been better, but that for the money they cost (relatively cheap) I wasn't giving anything up that I already had. I would have liked some Yoko's, but they were 50% more money.
