Hey Guys,

I sent Matt a PM on this but i thought i should post so that the info can be shared.

I just bought a set of Vossen CV7 for my 06 Saleen SC281. I am going to put Michelin SS on them but not sure what would be the best look. Here's the two i'm considering.

1. 255/35/20 (RF or 97Y) on front with 285/35/20 (104Y) in back.
or
2. 265/36/20 (99Y or 95Y) maybe even a 275/35 on front with 295/35/20 (101Y) in back.

My goal is a more flush or subtle bulge look. I'm not seeking a huge bulgeor the absolute biggest tire.

I appreciate your input.

Matt is off on Wednesdays but I'll make sure he chimes in of you tomorrow.

So he has all the info he needs, what are the widths and offsets for your new Vossen wheels.

The 265/35R20 would be a great size for the front. This size is almost exactly the same overall diameter as the stock tire but will give you a little wider front footprint. For the rear, a 295/35R20 may work but this will be just over 3/4" taller than the stock tire. I took a look at the Pilot SS and, if available the 305/30R20 would be a better diameter.

Lets see what Matt thinks tomorrow. He knows Mustang fitments better than I do.

Thanks Travis.

I don't think they make the SS in a 305/35 yet. I heard maybe later this year but who knows.

Man, in my research i cam across Digital Synapse & his mustang with 20x9 F and 20x11 Forgestar wheels.

Originally he was running Mich PS2 tires. 255/35 f and 305/35 rear. He then switched to the Super Sports and is running 255/35 F and 295/35 R. The SS in a 295/35 actually looks bigger than his old PS2 in a 305/35. To me, the 295/35 on the 11" wheel looks perfect.

This now has me thinking maybe i should do the 255/35F on 9" wheel and 285/35R on 10.5" wheel ???????

Man, my head hurts!
