Depends on your goal with the car. I'm happy with the stock 3.55's. But some like 3.73's. If you're going to stay with the eaton and hit the strip the 3.73's might be better.

3.55 feels perfect for my coupe; 3.73 feels perfect for my vert.

I had experimented with 4.10's for a while, but they were too restrictive when cruising out on the open highway.

I have 3.73's and want to go back to 3.55 or even 3.27's. ported eaton 2.8 upper, 4lb lower. FGT cams and Mac long tubes. 1st gear is so short and useless with 3.73's.

Do you like how the car feels with the stock 3.55? Personally i like the 410s.

If it was my car I would go with 3.90 or 4.10's. I had the stock 3.55's in my 03 with a ported, pullied Eaton making just over 500whp and it was begging for more gear at the track. Going thru the traps at 127-128mph not far into 4th. Up top cruising in 6th I doubt it would be more then a few hundred rpm jump going from 3.55 to 4.10's.

I'm not sure how much they helped because I did long tubes at the same time. That said I believe 98 cobra cams are supposed to be better but at the time I had the GT cams installed, this wasn't a well known fact.
I just go back and forth because I have the GT cams on the shelf and I'm about to take some time to do work on my car. But then installing cams with the engine in the car would suck.

Tire size would play a part in gear selection as well how tall of a tire is OP running? I have 4.10s but stepped up to a 27" tall tire which is like a 3.90 with a 26" tall or stock height.
