Belt squeaking

just got my car back from a local shop 2003 cobra with tvs. Has a 4lb lower new motor And the belt squeaks bad for a while after i start it and even worse when i give it throttle. It goes away eventually but is very annoying. Does anyone have any solutions to this or suggestions thanks

Could be an alignment issue or it could be dry if this belt was in use before engine came out.

Dribble a little water on it while running to see if it kills the noise.

You can also try flipping the belt. Remove and install it facing the other direction.

Spray a few shots of belt dressing on it while engine is idling. I've been using it for many years on all kinds of vehicles and it works great.
