I have an O/R bassani X pipe and I don't have the official bassani cat delete pipes. I evidently ordered it wrong and never got the delete pipes so I just put some universal 2.5" pipe in from autozone. Is there a big difference or a good reason why I should get a set from Bassani? Thanks guys.

I friend of mine was debating the importance of pipe thickness and what material it is but I wasn't sure if there was any truth to it.
stainless steal is ideal but it isnt THAT important .. does the pipe from the auto parts store have bends? .. you want mandrel bends and not pressure bends in your pipe .. if it is just a straight piece then it wont hurt performance at all
