Awesome post, I think all new members should be required to read this post before posting anything as it will answer 90% of their questions. And will really help them to understand their cars.

Some one should elaborate on the IRS in 99-04 Cobras as well, and interior changes to seats, radio in 01.

all I want to know is why did Ford cheap out on the 99 Cobra by giving us a 99 GT bumper, hood, spoiler, seats??

Well the hood was supposed to be cobra spec. But they got cheap and put it on every V6 after that.

ok, let me adress a few things. Cobra racer, i knew you would have an issue with oil level. Hence i mentioned that it was a controversial topic, and that i would only say what i personally did. I didn't reccomend any specific level.

I did indeed forget about the differences in the fuel system although that is mentioned in my blower faq, but i'll add it.

The part about the air pump imho is not a big deal since the 99 doesn't have it and its doesn't have a huge effect but I can make a note of it.

I was focusing more on the mechanical bits as opposed to the electronics, but i will include your stuff on the traction control.

thanks for the additional info.

If you purchase a Chiltons repair book it will tell you how to do this. Basically jack car up, take drain plug out, drain fluid. Put plug back in, take fill plug out fill up tranny. Fill it to the very bottom of the fill hole.

I think it would be good to include a few new sections.

First off this link is useful (although some of the info is v6 specific):
http://www.miracerros.com/mustang/2000_index.html

You might want to add a section listing all the differences between the 99 and 01 cobra's (for those who are looking to buy a new cobra and want to know the differences).

A shifter section with shifter info on the Tri-Ax, Pro 5.0, and MGW. Hopefully it will kill the weekly what shifter should I get threads.

You might want to add some iridium spark plug info and possibly info on the brisk plugs.

Add a link to this gear calculator to the gear section:
http://www.svtoa-atlanta.org/cgi-bin/trans.cgi

Add a supercharger section and put a link to your supercharger FAQ.

Add a stereo section with a link to this site:
http://www.flemworld.com/Mach460/Mach.html

And most importantly a suspension section with a link to this site
http://www.miracerros.com/mustang/t_suspension.htm (general info)
And rear end info
IRS: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2631765&postcount=1 and http://www.motorcityterminators.org/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=66&PN=1&TPN=1
Solid Rear: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1121246&postcount=1

If I can think of anything else I'll let you know.

Good job, Quad. If you need help formatting this or arranging it in some manner, let me know.

I can also offer up my 01 and 99 for interior comparison shots if anyone ever needs them.

Great write-up. Should definitley become a sticky. Might want to add a section about CAI and maybe a like to Tucker's website?
