Mountain climbing is one of those things that sounds awesome in theory, but awful in practice.

Some of the “smaller stuff” would probably be absolutely 100% worth it. Going to the highest peaks in the world and dying because of a storm? Nah, I’m good.

That's mostly how I have always felt about it. Being taken out by a storm that you you'd survive anywhere else, but because you're on Everest, just doesn't appeal to me much. The climb they showed in the video looked relatively easy with minimal dangers, but I've always heard Rainier is the first mountain to take on when training for all other mountains so I imagined it was pretty well stacked with dangers. I assumed when you get on it you're battling ice crevices the entire way like it's Cliffhanger. When you look at it it's covered in snow and ice almost year round over most of it, but this showed that it's pretty tame.
