That was awesome...
My first 3 yrs in the fleet, after boot camp and infantry school, I was a machine gunner, 0331. Carried the M60, then became team ldr, then sqd ldr and eventually section ldr. Then went to STA plt my last 2 yrs.

31s are their own special breed. I was an 0311 squad leader. What unit were you with? I was with 3/1 Lima Co.
My very very short time in the Army consisted of Army Boot at Benning then another year at my drill unit as a 60 gunner. My real time with such weapons came in the Navy with the M240B when I was running the Armory and was teaching others on it and .50's plus small arms.

Here are a couple of videos from PITS 2026 that I found. The second video is the best one (check out the lime green Terminator at 4:36). And a nice Sonic Blue 2003 Cobra at 15:00. Quite a few Terminators, actually, including a Mystichrome Cobra. Quite a few Terminators, actually. Saw a nice green Mustang with a cool NJ plate 'BDAPPLE', I guess for the somewhat apple green paint. A lot of pull-outs in that second video.
