No, most use manual valve body or a Bauman controller for auto control.

Well Now
you 'all got my attention!!! I like the idea!!!
So which 6r80 bolt pattern will be best for the terminator motor?
Is the 5.0 coyote engine have the same Bellhousing bolt pattern?
Is the coyote flywheel have the same 8 bolt pattern?
Appreciate any path you may have to take...
Thanks

All 6R coyote trans share mod motor bolt pattern. I’m pretty sure the Ecoboost 3.5 and reg 3.7 is also same.
Hearing mixed things on 6R controller.
Another option is a Coyote 6R computer, but you’d have to take to PBTH in Florida.
They did a TT 4.6 Terminator with that combo.
6R much better trans than 4R but those MVB 4Rs are really fun. I’d go Freddie Brown MVB if you don’t want to mess with computers or wiring harnesses

The ecoboost bolt pattern is not the same, it has a few extra bolts. He will want an F150 or a 5.0 mustang version.

If you're considering the 6r80, you might look into the 4r200 as well.

You want a 6r80 out of a 2011- 2014 F-150 5.0l-2wd, Only.
Or a 2011-2014 mustang 5.0l with an auto.

Average price tag of the F-150 6r80 is 500$, and the Mustang version is 1000$.

As Weather Man has stated look into the Quick 6. Has a lot of features, including speed sensors that allow you to not have to splice into your ABS sensor. Very easy to follow wiring diagram.

I passed on the 4R200 but I did get there 1000hp kit, an Intermediate shaft and Raybesto's GPZ clutches.

Edit: spelling, follow not fallow.

Bellhousing to engine block Bolts. W710658*S439-Need 2#
& N606067*S439-Need 5#
Flywheel, BL3Z-6375-A.
Flywheel Bolts, AL3Z-6379-BA
Backing Plate, AC3Z-7007-A.
Torque Converter Nuts, 37891*S441.

A small parts list to give you an idea.
If you get the Quick 6, your going to need a Autometer 9117# tach adapter to run with the Quick 6. But with the Quick 6, you can do this.

I have a built 4r70w if you're interested with 0 miles on it since the re-build. 3200rpm stall, 8 bolt flexplate. Ill sell it for cheap since the car is going back to a manual.

4r70 cobra here. I used a manual valve body, mainly because I didnt want to deal with shift controllers and still wanted some sort of "shifting" i had to do so it wasn't totally boring. Only thing you need to change in the tune is the speed sensor settings so it reads mph correctly. Very simple and easy swap. 6r80 is a better trans but hard to hate on a mvb 4r70.

Yes and no. lol

Yes you still use your cobra ecu/pcm for everything else.

No your cobra ecu/pcm won't control the transmission at all.

You'll need to shift by hand into every gear (sandlot.. FOREVERRR). And you'll need to tap into the abs system for your speedo to work.

Not hating on MVB's but it's nice just to be-able to put it in D and go..
