sounds like the OP is wondering why on the street in S mode, he can go to 7500rpms. At the track in S mode, why will it only go to 6700rpms? I could be reading it wrong though. but if you have it in S mode and select 1st gear or whatever, it should allow you to pull to 7500rpms. If you put it in S mode and leave it alone, 6700rpms sounds right. S mode, you select gear, you are commanding when it shifts to the next gear. S mode and leave it alone, it's the computer that will still shift it. Like mentioned, you will need a few things to cut a better 60'. Honestly with stock everything and stock tires, a 2.0 is really good/some what the norm. Stock but with DR's will help a little but it's either A. get a Converter or B a power adder. but I have seen several with power adders, like FI, still only getting a 1.6-1.8 60'. if you plan on staying N/A, definitely get a converter. With my 14 Auto; tune, cai and axle back netted me a 2.0 60', 12.44 @113.8mph. That was cool weather and 900' DA. Add 3400 stall converter, DR's and Boss IM and I ran a 1.7 60', 11.97 @117.3mph. Very hot and humid South GA and DA was 3300'. Can't wait to see what the longtubes, CJ and brm k member nets me. Sux it's getting hot out and DA will be on the rise.
