For the 2020 owners... I just got off the phone with a Toyo rep. I would like to put Toyo R888R tires on my 2020 front and back. The problem is they currently make our rear size (315/30/20), but the 305s they currently offer have too tall of a sidewall (35 aspect ratio). The lady said they have had inquiries to make a 305/30/20, but she did say the more people that inquire about a particular size, the more likely they are to make that size. So, if you want a tire with amazing grip that is great for digging out of the hole as well as turning left/right, call Toyo at the number below to lobby for them to make our size! We need them to make a 305/30/20!

CALL NOW!!!! WE GOT THIS!!!! HAHA. This is a low production vehicle number, with most cars becoming garage queens. Make the calls for us :) But seriously, Ford should be giving us what we need, we shouldn't have to hound TOYO with customer service calls.

The Michelin 315 are $8/tire more then the 888 are the 888 a better tire?
I know the Michelin 305 are $70/tire more than the 315. So you might save money there.

Not looking to save money. Looking for the best straight line and cornering traction. R888R has the best traction in both cases.

The CFTP cup2 is better than an 888R I can almost guarantee that. If not you are better off with NT01 or even Nankang AR-1

The R888Rs offer the best grip for a car that does it all (drag strip AND road course) in my opinion.

Why not just run the 315/30ZR20 ?
I haven’t 100% ruled this out. However, the 315/30 is a bit taller than the OE 305/30 front tire. This will throw the speedo and odo off slightly as well as the track apps (distances). More importantly, the aftermarket wheels I am most likely getting have been test fitted with a 315 up front and the tire rubs the fender liner at full steering lock. Surprisingly, it’s not the inside of the tire that rubs, it’s the outside edge that rubs due to the extra height.

Also, a 315 in the front would add a little unnecessary rotational weight. If Toyo would make a 305/30/20, I’d buy a set today.
