Today I took off from the light, nailed it to almost 7 grand, I saw some blackish smoke come out of the back of the car, it wasn't thick or dark and it went away quick. It does it only when I take it up around the rev limiter, normal or do I just need to drive my car a bit more?
At WOT, short burst of smoke?

Last week, I went with a good friend of mine to get a tune put on a newly rebuilt and recently broke in 4v modular motor (with Vortech S-trim) that was installed in his 98' Cobra.
The first two pulls on the dyno, it was noticed that at full WOT, his Cobra was blowing out blackish smoke, especially on WOT let off. The SCT tuner simply made some adjustments. The verdict was that he was running too rich.
Thrid pull was clean-no blackish smoke at full WOT and at let off.

that's funny, cause on my first dyno pull there was some blackish smoke too. every pull after that(tuning adjustments were made as well) there was no more smoke. :thumbsup:
