Hello , so my question basically is how much hp can i expect to gain from going from stock manifolds to 1 3/4 ARH Longtubes roughly ?
    I have a ported Eaton , plenum , and TB . Pulley
My tuner says i should go with 1 7/8 header but for my car i think that’s overkill . I’m not moving enough air , i think the 1 3/4 is plenty . So what can i look forward to ?

No clue, but I’m subscribing. Ever thought about reaching out to Kurgan Motorsports? Ask them since they have tuned a ton of cobra’s.

I would find a new tuner if he recommends 1-7/8" for your build. way too big and if you pair it with 3" you would lose Tq. To the first question maybe a good 35-40rwhp.

Kurgan is a great place. He does a fantastic job tuning and has great prices.

1 3/4 primaries will be optimal for everything under 800hp, give or take. Stay with a 2.5" collector and 2.5" all the way back.

No way to approximate power gains as you haven't listed the crossover pipe you're currently using or the one you plan to pair the headers with.

Header Mfg. state gains of 35-40 hp, expect around 25, that way you won't be disappointed..

Most people that dyno show minimal gains. Headers is one of the worst bang for your buck horsepower mods on these cars.

25ish rwhp with a retune. Not worth the time, effort, or $.

Unless you get a solid used set of long tubes for a song :)

True! I ran ARH longtubes and catted x pipe on my 2v GT, but only because I won them in a raffle on ModularFords.com back in 2007. I would've not spent the $1300 out of pocket for that system.

headers are one of the best mods imo, refines exhaust note to a new level, and these motors sound great

If you want $$ for HP, not much beats a blower swap
