Put in a email to Tuner Rob Shoemaker at Palm Beach Dyno with the info on the emissions fail. Less than 24 hours later he e-mails me another custom tune to load on my SCT for emissions inspection. Load up the tune and drive approximately 10 miles to inspection station. Hook up OBD2 and passes on first try. Back to my house and re-install the performance tune and I'm back to fun and giggles. Pretty sure I'll have to do it all over again come next October when it's inspection time. Not a problem though, switching tunes only took about 10 minutes. Much easier than taking off the CAI!! Hope this helps you out with your GT500.
Had an inspection problem on my 14 GT500 this past October. I reside here in (Commie) York, so you have to do the inspection every 12 months. About July I installed JLT 123 CAI and Palm Beach SCT custom tune just for giggles, and Oh Boy did that tune really wake up my Trinity! Fast forward to my NY inspection in October and I got multiple "Sensors not Ready" readings. Thought it might be on account of the original battery dying. Inspectors told me to do the "Ford approved drive cycle to set the sensors" 300 miles later after that PIA sequence, still get a "Sensors not ready" again. Now I suspect it's the custom tune.
