Are the newer 9 thread dohc heads side specific

I'm rebuilding the motor in my 2001 cobra, so I'm building it kind of the way I want it I'm using a teksid block, stock cobra crank and aftermarket rods. I'm thinking about using a the newer 2C5E-6C064-DB or DC heads and have seen them for sale as either drivers or passenger side and was wondering if they are side specific or could be swapped? I own a automotive machine shop so the machine work wouldn't be a problem if some was necessary. Has anyone else done this swap?

Yes they are. That being said, I believe with some machining to the oil galleries, they can be made to fit on either side.

They work on either side. The oil plugs and coolant plugs just need to be plugged and opened up correctly. Modular engines one piece fits all simple brilliant design saved millions in regards to tooling.
