Friggin tire threads!!! Sorry in advance. I picked up a set of 50th anniversary Alcoas from Snorman, who was a total gentleman to deal with and totally went the extra mile for me. I nailed down my tire dilemma by going with the Michelin Pilot Super Sports and Tire Rack got the job done, along with some TPMS from my local Ford dealer. In reading threads here I discovered that the ideal size for a non widened Alcoa is 265/35ZR20 on the front and 285/35ZR20 on the rear. I figured that I would take it one step further and grab 265/30ZR20 and 285/30ZR20s. Has anyone ran a 30 series tire???? I've been looking at them and the sidewall seems a little low, practically nonexistent, and I'm afraid they won't look right. I would rather not mount them up if someone had already tried these and found it to be undesirable. I'm lowered on Ford Racing springs and BMR accessories. Fortunately the tire rack warehouse is 10 minutes from my house if I gotta swap for 35 series.
