Trying to get some information on an automatic swap my buddy wants to swap his manual out for an 5r55 in his 06 GT. Search here & corral and didn't find much threads on this. To my understanding i'm guessing it would be a straight bolt up besides needing other things like harness, pcm, etc? His trans is on it's way out so at this point he's trying to decide which route to go. He doesn't mind putting a stock 5r55 in and rebuilding it later on down the road and it's eventually gonna be a built nitrous car.
