Interesting. I know that a few teams in Nascar tested the fuels at pumps. Those claiming that they contained 10% or less ethanol, they actually, on average contained 20-22%.
What concerns me is the part about the armature in the fuel injectors being able to rust if to much moisture is absorbed by the ethanol fuel.
I really want to convert to E85 next spring, things like this have me questioning my decision.
I would read into that with caution. If motors were "Blowing UP" due to injectors sticking and rusting, then the over 10 million Flex Fuel cars on the road would be an epidemic of monstrous proportions. This is simply not the case and I have never had any issues over the years of running E85.
While there are facts that were discussed, I think it is skewed in one direction.
