Anyone pick up their 03 from the dealer with the nubs on the rear tires?

I imagine the concrete floor was slippery enough to allow them to do it. But you have to figure that the GT's and Cobra's can do it with no problem.

5 miles, NO NUBS! BUT, I checked all around the inside of the well and it was perfectly clean. Not a sign of rubber particles. I questioned the salesperson about the missing nubs and he shrugged his shoulders. Not much he could say I guess. 400 miles later and not one problem. It doesn't take much to wear the nubs down. Even if you don't torch the tires, a good solid acceleration will put some stress on the surface of the tire and later days nubs.

2.6 miles, and all the nubs were there and the wheel wells were perfectly clean.

Picked up my '03, had 10.3 miles and the "nubs" were MIA!!!

6.3 miles on the clock at delivery. I put an additional 18 miles on it during my first test drive.

Nice perky nubs all around...

It was love at first sight.

Just thinking about it is giving me a chubby!
