Hey there, I recently inherited 3 Omega Seamasters. I believe they are all the same watch, except one is in black and the other 2 are both blue faced.

They all have the date at 3 o'clock and all say "Seamaster" in red italic and underneath they all say 'Professional' and directly under that it has the watch's depth of 300M/1000 ft.. All of them have the 'Seamaster' logo on the back of the watch, along with the Seahorse or horse and then just the Omega logo right underneath.

Each watch is practically brand new and in perfect condition without a single mark on any of them. I have the original box and paperwork that came with each watch.

I'm no expert here, so i'm wondering if anyone on the forums is familiar with Omega watches. I'm hoping to sell these at some point and pick up another Hamilton watch. I used to have a Hamilton day/date Khaki automatic and sold it because I needed the cash, but I really wish I didn't since it was a great watch. I used to wear it during work and I know I bumped the glass face at least 4-5 times on hard metal surfaces and not a scratch on it.

Anyways, here's some pictures of the Omega's I have right now.

Awesome. Thanks for the input! These will definitely pay for another Hamilton, but now i'm more along the lines of finally getting a 331/347 stroker in my Fox along with a MS PnP I should also mention I have a pair of Tag-Heuers, a Breitling, about 5-6 Bulovas, and a Rolex datejust from the 80s, but that particular watch has sentimental value and I would never sell it.

I also inherited at least $4k in 1:18 diecast cars, all GMP/Acme/Guycast/Highway 61/Diecast Promotions, and of course a bunch of Maisto and I also have the ever elusive Welly 1:18 1986 GT that sells for $200-$250+. I have most of the rare GMP 1:18 models like the the 1989 Drag Mustang LX in both Orange and Red, the Darkhorse, which is the GMP 1985 Mustang drag coupe. I have every GMP SSP 1:18 model except the border patrol and the the FBI car. The 1993 Cobra in Teal, the twin turbo and supercharger version of the Ohio George gasser models of the 1967 Mustang made by GMP. I have just about every rare 1960s American Muscle car by GMP/Acme. I have more GTOs than any muscle car, probably about 15+ 1:18 scale.

These are all circa 2006 - 2009, I believe. I have dark blue faced one after Casino Royale came out. At that time they cost about $2500 new. Keep one, sell the other two and get a Hamilton. GLWS.

Here’s mine.
Thanks for the info! I think i'll do just that. I'm not that into watches with metal bracelets, but I do like the blue faced Omega I have. I think that's the one i'll keep and the Hamilton Khaki Pilot Automatic is on sale right now for $648.00. I currently wear a Seiko 21 jewel automatic watch that is maybe $100, but it's the watch I wear when i'm working on my car and it definitely gets banged around and the watch shows no wear. I'd love to get the Seiko automatic 24 jewel watch with the white face that's on sale for $190 right now, but it's just something I don't need if i'm picking up the Hamilton, plus I still have my old Seiko which works fine that I can wear when I work on my Fox.

If you truly want a collection of higher end watches, why sell an Omega to purchase a low level Hamilton? Nothing against Hamilton’s, I actually have a couple but there are several significantly nicer pieces in their lineup that would better round out your collection. At least in my opinion.

If you do choose to sell you’re better off listing them on WatchUSeek in the private for sale section.

I never once said I wanted a collection of higher end watches. I'm not sure you read the thread correctly.

I said I inherited these watches. I never said that these were my own personal collection. If I was a watch guy and was into collecting watches, I'm sure I wouldn't have started a thread asking how much these Omega watches were worth.

Again, I am not a watch collector. I also explained the other 'higher-end' watches I had, such as the Tag-Heuer and Breitling. The 5th word I started with this thread was "inherited," meaning all these expensive watches are not part of some high end watch i'm collecting, but rather watches I received because of an unfortunate event that happened in my life. Trust me, I don't give a damn about the watches. Here are all my watches.

FYI. There is a Hamilton in there. Two Tag Heuers, a Breitling, the 2 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Motion Date Just watches, 3 Omegas, and many others.

Chrono24 is probably the best place to get market values. If you want to sell quickly, knock a couple hundred bucks off.

Also these Seamasters are the highest level of faked watch out there so unless you know 110% for sure they came from an AD I'd have them checked for authenticity.

FYI, and I totally get your stance on watches, but if there is a watch you like it's easy to swap bracelets to leather, fabric, rubber, etc bands. It's a $5 tool and literally takes 2 minutes.

Chrono24 and Ebay is the easiest way to do it. If you sell on Ebay sign up for their protection program. A watch repair center will give the watches a look over in an attempt to verify they're not fakes before it goes to the seller. Since you're not into watches that might eliminate some headaches on your end. You could also consign them at a jeweler or watch store. That's probably the easiest thing to do. You'll obviously want to get a rough estimate of what they're worth before going that route and being taken for a ride.

I hear you. I'm comfortable on keeping my Rolex watches the way they are. For special events, a watch like that I would wear the gold and silver band. Right now i'm literally wearing a Hamilton watch with a leather band.

Nothing wrong with a Hamilton. I'm waiting for the Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer to come down to $600. Good luck selling the watches.
