Anyone having iPod connection issues with their '15 or '16 Mustang?

I've used my iPod in several cars and never had this issue, but anytime I plug my iPod into the USB port inside the arm rest, it will quit working once I disconnect it. After disconnecting, the iPod will go into recovery mode and I have to delete all my files, then re-upload in order for me to use the iPod again.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I have not, no. I have an older 160GB ipod and it plays fine for the most part. From time to time it will stop playing music but still display songs. This also happened in my Focus. I'm pretty sure my issue is related to the 160 GB ipods though and not Sync or the Mustang.

My iPod is the 160GB too. I'm going to buy a different connector and see if that helps.

Same iPod, mine will sometimes freeze, but never had to delete it.
