During the day, you would blend in with other traffic much easier. Depending on where you live and or drive, being out after midnight could make YOU the ONLY traffic. </p><p></p><p>Proactive officers don't sit around waiting on call outs. They are observing people/traffic and looking for indicators that would cause them to make contact. </p><p></p><p>I am and have been employed at places with shift work. Have I been stopped late at night? Yes. Did I do anything wrong? No. Did I run my mouth at the officers? No. Did I receive any tickets? No. Was it an inconvenience? Yes. Did I file complaints?
