seems like since the latest instances of people hitting liquids on the track and having major accidents PBIR is being told by IHRA to require any car running a 10.99 or quicker to use a diaper and certain cars going 11.99 or quicker will need one as well. Was wondering if anyone else had run into this and what the outcome was.

New England Dragway requires one for 10.99 and quicker but real street cars are exempt, but that could always change

IIRC the NHRA had mandated it for 9.99 and faster several years ago.
I remember doing mine. It wasn't just straight 9.99 though. There were certain classes and other factors.
There were a lot of oil downs at the time.
It isn't just about safety, it is about saving gem and money cleaning up.
I'd have to go dig up my rule book to be sure.
