The KO2 just got replaced by the KO3 a few months ago. I ran the original KO's on my Bronco and with 50,000 miles on them they still had half tread remaining. Can't say I ever had issues in the snow or rain back then either.

The only time I've ever hydroplaned & another time started to slip off an off ramp in a Raptor in ~200k combined miles was on KO's. And they weren't close to bald and I wasn't driving like an idiot.

I replaced the oem ko2s with ko2s because they’re lightweight and load range C and I don’t think any other tire meets those 2 criteria?

They’re horrible in the rain though. Absolute death sentence. Pretty good for all the other use cases so I just slow down (in the curves) when it’s wet.

Falken Wildpeaks have a load range C but they weigh more.

I'm not rolling on 37's but I did drive 2 hours home in the remnants of the storm cell from hurricane Beryl a few weeks ago and had zero hydroplane or sketchy moments on the new KO3's. With the new model out I wouldn't even consider the KO2's anymore, they're an outgoing 10 year old design.

I did have wildpeak AT3's on my 2nd Bronco and they worked very well, but that design also JUST got replaced for the new AT4. I tossed around the idea between AT4's and KO3's when picking tires but the KO3's weighing less, better initial reviews, and multiple reviews on the AT4's saying they had balancing and vibration issues right out of the gate, I went with the BFG. Been happy with them so far. These replaced some Cooper Discoverer AT3's which only lasted 30,000 miles.

I had Toyos on my 2500 and they rode amazing, actually one of the better riding tires I've ever had. I would highly recommend.

Another vote for Toyo. I’ve tried several different manufacturers over the last 20 years in stock sizes and up to 37’s. Toyo’s have consistently outperformed the rest in terms of longevity, ease of balancing, ride quality, and traction. I’m running them on both our 1500 (stock) and our 2500 (35’s).

Seems like a split between Toyo and nitto. Interesting. I'm shopping 35's and I've narrowed my choice down to open country at 3's and ridge grapplers.

I've had Toyo AT2 Extremes, General ATX and now currently just put on a set of Falken Wildpeak R/T 37x12.50r18. These Falken's are by far the best riding and lowest noise. I've towed the boat 4-5 trips and they do great on the highway and boat ramp. Time will tell on durability.

I absolutely hated the Toyo's, they were downright dangerous in the rain if your truck was unloaded. The General ATX looked nice and were quiet, but felt a bit "squishy" when towing and threw rocks really bad after you drove down a gravel road.

Mastercraft -- knock off brand of Cooper tires and still made in USA. I run Mastercraft on several of my rigs.

However, currently on a set of Kenda Klever RT in 35's and Im very happy w/them. Not noisy at all and they are wearing very nice.

Installed the new Toyos and as everyone has said was a massive improvement over the Fuels. I have the Nittos on all the other trucks but after a set had dry rotted sidewalls after 11 months I wanted to try another tire. Toyos performed well in the rain today and have a nice hum on the highway. Time will tell thanks everyone

Thanks for the follow up. When I wear out these 35" KO2's I'm probably going with these.

I’ve ran Toyo rt on all my truck for 2 sets and my 4Runner. Getting RT trails on the runner Monday to replace the rts. Best tires I’ve ever had.

I have KO2 35's on my Jeep for 11K miles. No issues through all seasons and road conditions in Wisconsin. I like them.
