Take a look at a few years worth of GT350 Federal Certifications. The effective date/issue dates are typically summer months. - 2015 MY GT350 was granted a federal certification of authority on June 2, 2015. https://www.fleet.ford.com/resources/ford/general/programs/emissions/CC_FFMXV05.2VES_FFMXV05.2VES-070-R01_07102015.pdf - 2016 MY GT350 was granted a federal certification of authority on July 24, 2015. https://www.fleet.ford.com/resources/ford/general/programs/emissions/CC_GFMXV05.2VES_GFMXV05.2VES-056_07242015.pdf - 2018 MY GT350 was granted a federal certification of authority on August 14, 2017. https://www.fleet.ford.com/resources/ford/general/programs/emissions/Cert_JFMXV05.2VES-054.pdf Note that during GT350 production that the applicable exhaust emission standards have changed (look at the Bin/Tier for each of the certifications). My guess would be that the upcoming GT500 will be certified to the same standard for at least two years and it will likely be more stringent than what we see now as the EPA never goes backwards. So this mega-horsepower engine will have to be cleaner than the lower horsepower engine that came before it. Anyway, if recent history is any indicator we may see the certification pop up within the next three months or so. Here's a great resource for Federal and CARB certs (thanks Ford!). https://www.fleet.ford.com/programs/emission-guides/ And to be clear, the Federal Certification is not the same as California's (CARB's in essence). You can thank the Left and the coast they have harvested for this bureacratic cluster****.
