Probably because this is a FORD performance-focused site? Mustangs in particular. There has been a thread or two about it. It starts at $130K, so that prices it out of reach for most here, and there's no point in discussing it all that much. People will talk about more in two or three years when you can pick one up on the used market for $60K - $70K. I agree with this. Not because I bought one, but because of what the purchase prices have shown. People are buying ZL1(1LE)s because they can get them below MSRP. If Chevy dealers tried to charge above MSRP, they'd rot on dealer lots. The GT350 and GT350R are basically the holy grails of Mustang-dome. And based on sale prices, the value is clearly there. Yep! It's nice to be able to drive a car where the throttle pedal is a tool at your disposal instead of a detonator switch. I used to think my GT500 had a pretty linear power delivery (and it does), but it's nowhere close to as precise as the GT350R. Just being able to dance on the throttle is a joy everybody needs to experience. It's like a scalpel. Anyway... I thoroughly enjoy my GT500, as well. Sometimes it's nice to feel that seemingly endless, bone-crushing torque as I blast down the highway and watch the speedometer effortlessly roll to the end of the dial. I love them both! If someone put a gun to my head and forced me to make a choice, they might have to pull the trigger. (Well, if my GT500 still had the stock suspension setup, I'd choose the R, but with how well it handles now, it would be too hard of a choice to make.)
