Anyone add a subwoofer and amp?

We have the shaker sound system and would like to add an amp and sub to the system. I was wondering if there was a preamp out because Ford offers a subwoofer and amp kit for the shaker system. If not what is the best way to get the signal I need for the amp?

i dont have the shaker system so i had to wire my sub and amp using a Line Out Converter(LOC). the LOC was wired into my back speakers and i plug my RCAs directly into that, then into my amp. it works great and sounds amazing.

i have a Kicker 1500.1 amp and a 12" Fi Audio Q12. once i figured out the shop installed it wrong and fixed it, it hits hard now.
