Anyone A Drill Instructor?

I am going to be applying for a position as a Drill Instructor with the Michigan Department of Corrections. I have wanted to do this since I've been a corrections officer, just wanted some pointers and tips.

You can be a military or civil drill instructor.

Im sure alot of the military guys on here, like myself, can tell you what their BMT drill instructors were like.....

-gotta be an asshole
-dont second guess yourself or show signs of weakness
-leave personal life at home
-exploit weakness and reinforce strengths
-work on yelling with your diaphram, instead of your throat
-be personable off to the side
-dont fumble around with words, gotta speak clear and concise
