Any of you Shelby/Termee Guys race an M5/M6 yet???

My best friend lives in the Hilton Head s.c. are. he has an 03 Gt with a vortech and boltons. A modded M5 with cali tags soanked him pretty bad a while back. Modded ones can be quick.

Raced a new M5 from 65-130 or so and beat him by 2-3 lengths...that was without spray. Pretty impressive car, I went and checked one out at the local BMW afterwards. The car can be changed from 400 to 500 bhp at the push of a button. I guess one for economy(right, it gets like 12mpg on a good day)and the other for performance. It was a black one with all the bells and whistles for a cool 95k.

I raced an older model (2004) and beat him about 3 cars. I have yet to race a new one. I was next to one on the highway once but the guy was on a test drive so he wouldn't go for it (he was also like 70 yrs. old).
I work for BMW. I'll be looking forward to racing some co-workers now that I have my new 04 termi 
Hah, I had an M6 vert try to race me. I didn't think he would, but he smashed through first and got sideways in 2nd. By the time I hit it, he hit the brakes and flew into a neighborhood. I know I would have lost but damnit I'll try my hardest!
I had about the same outcome, but with an M6 'Vert. We went from around 60-125ish. The end result was me about 2 1/2 - 3 car lengths.7168548 said:
