Any benefit (short runner intake)

I'm looking to go single t78mm this winter I have a Mach intake laying around thinking of sending it out to get shorted and ported just seeing if it worth the $ ? I have a built 5. 0 stroked teksid 9.5.1 crower s3 blower cams it will be on high boost/race fuel most of the time
