Just became the proud daddy of this about a week ago:

I would like to get away from the 36# injectors and fmu setup. Does anyone think 42's without an fmu will be ok? If not, what size? Should I go up to 60's or are 50's ok? I have heard people say there are somekind of non-descriptive issues with 50's? I have a set of brand new 42's and the meter ready to go on.
I will be putting on a sct 2800 air meter when I do the swap and am also looking to get a bigger pulley (yes, less boost) to drop the boost down to what I will hope to be the 10-12# range.
I will be trying to see if I can get a Jon Lund tune on it after the injectors, meter, and pulley swap is completed.
I won't need any room to grow- I will be happy with the car following "detuning" it....
The previous owner said the car currently has 520rwhp. I believe that dropping 4-6#'s of boost should get me below 500. Doing the math... 42's at a 80% duty cycle should handle 537.6hp.
Any input would be appreciated!
