Another seat airbag questions

Swapped seats out of a 12 to my 13. There was a slim chance the parts matched up, when Ford went to reset the light it said mismatched parts the date on the bladder was wrong. Will the 2.2 ohm resistor trick fix this? As long as the steering wheel and dash airbags work I'm okay with it.

The resistor will fix the airbag light but it will not make the airbags in the seats work.

You can take your stock seats apart as well as the new ones and put all the airbag relate guts into the new seats. I believe user Paul here on the forum did something similar to avoid the cross year seat airbag light problem when he upgraded to Recaros.

It's not too hard actually, just need some hog rings and pliers.
