Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins tells employees U.S. needs new gun laws following Uvalde massacre

Robbins’ statements led to a heated debate on an internal chat board as employees began arguing their positions on the issue. Eventually an executive in human resources intervened to try and keep the discussion apolitical, according to people familiar with the matter.

Some employees were angry with Robbins, accusing him and the company of trying to take away their Second Amendment rights, said the people, who asked not to be named because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly on the issue. Another group of employees jumped in to defend Robbins and said his statements were being misinterpreted.

Got to love it when companies try to get into discussions that have nothing to do with their business.

In CA now its 21 to buy handgun or long gun

it is federal law that you have to be 21 to buy a handgun. CA did pass a law that you gotta be 21 to buy a rifle however that was struck down by the 9th.

More Troubling Uvalde News: Police Detained Teacher's Officer Husband After She Called Him for Help

SMH. But I am supposed to be worried about more important things happening in eastern europe... Maybe LE was learning everyone's pronouns the day they were teaching LE. Decay of society...

I read this a few days ago. I can’t imagine. I do know that they would have had to beat the shit out of me to detain me. I’m sure he had an adrenaline rush that few have truly experienced.

Hindsight being what it is, I would personally kill everyone that detained me.

You’d think that would have been the deciding factor for them to say **** it and storm in there, to protect their “brothers” wife. Just shows how chicken shit the rest were. Sad

P.S. The Golden hour is for strokes…not gun shots. Most people who get shot don’t live an hour.

Yep, that would be me. I took the test to be a police officer back in 1989. I didn't pass it. Thank God. I believe that was God's way of saying "Nope, you do not have the temperament to do that job."

I can't deal with dumbasses either. Sometimes I watch Cops and I'm like "Okay, that dude needs to be slammed on the hood of the police cruiser with some extra force or his head needs to hit the roof of the car as he's "guided" into the back seat." LMAO!

Well, back when I was in medic school circa 2008, it was primarily for stokes. You have literally an hour from onset of symptoms to the hospital to administer TPA to reverse the damage.

I’ve physically seen 2 people get shot, they died within 5 minutes.
