Sad but unsurprising news. There's a mushrooming mental health crisis ongoing in this country. Exasperated and fueled by a bunch of factors, most of which we read in the news every day. Society for the most part doesn't remember what tranquil real peace feels like. "Unsettled" would be a good descriptor. Sad times.

The term "mass shooting" is defined as "four or more" people. Our major cities have "mass shootings" every weekend.
The term, and the intentionally low threshold definition, is PSYOPS.
It is meant to shock and persuade public opinion concerning firearms.
Well, to me anyway, 4 or more people murdered at one time/event is pretty tragic.

For me, it all depends on who is being killed.

I, like most people, don't want innocent people killed and have empathy for those when it does happen.
Four or more is plenty to be considered a mass shooting in my book, especially when the victims are all unarmed. If you confront a couple of perps breaking into your house and take them out, that’s a different circumstance, but to walk into a school or a mall and kill four or more, mass shooting fits the bill.
