Just got an email from my daughters high school principal…

“Wanted to inform you that there was a BB gun on campus yesterday and we are investigating it further”

I LOL’d thinking back to shotguns and rifles stored in gun racks in all the pickups in my high school parking lot.

Funny thing was no one ever had a school shooting back then, but if they had there would have been quite a few country boys running to there trucks and running right back inside.
Yup. So many high schools had rifle teams too. You'd turn your rifle in to the teacher or rifle coach and he or she would lock them up. The rifle coach had the ammo locked up and after school you'd go to rifle practice.

Well, that typically only works if you live far enough away and are on the route.

Agree that no teachers aide should have that much stroke.

Yeah. It’s insane the power some random 22 year old has.

It’s just the pussification.. “ back in my day “ id walk two miles home… now they legit will not let a kid walk off the sidewalk without an escort. ( yes. They actually walk the kid to the car )

Michigan does not have any laws that require parents to secure firearms or keep them out of the reach of children.

I’m not sure the state has a case here, unless I’m missing something?
Interesting

Parents and kid both posted on social media about it being HIS gun so sounds like that’s their angle

Yet we wonder what’s wrong with the younger generations…

I’d be going to talk to the superintendent of the school district. That bitch would be calling me sir every time I saw her afterwards.

If my kid shot up a school, I would not want to hang out at my home of record waiting for the retaliation. So I skip over to a friends property and lay low until the kid's next court date. The DA here is making it sound like Bonney and Clyde on the lam. $500k bail on each parent and now they are going after the guy that let them stay at his property.

Well I mean they can buy the firearm and legally let him shoot it at the range. The firearm will remain their legal property until he is 21 and does a bg check to complete a legal transfer.

Still missing something here. Did he live somewhere else other than his parents place?

Is this a real mom and step dad? Or a step mom and real dad?
