And I thought I had my rough idle fixed...

So i go get a tune

ngk tr6 gapped at .30 (tuner says so)

i get my 2.8 upper installed

i start getting the little pop every 3-4 seconds at idle and pretty rapidly at 1500 rpm

then he says well u have a YDh1 computer which sucks at idling so lets try a NGK BR7EF gapped at .30

and Yes

it was beautiful

for a time...

Then i got an offer for HID's top and bottom for 100$

bought them

put them on

and now the little pop is back...

Yes i had to disconnect the battery

yes i reset the ecm

but

How long does it take to relearn the idle?

and iv checked and double checked

and triple checked for loose hosing and anything i can think of

i even cleaned my MAF

but at idle it still makes a pop

but earlier before i disconnected everything to install HID's

it was running 100% perfect


Any help would be greatly appreciated

You need to data log it at idle, you may have a bad coil or the tune may be in left field.
