While back I decided to sell my old cobra when I left for the Army as I couldn't afford it on a privates salary, but when I got back from downrange I found this.

Currently installing an entirely custom suspension and prepping to a 600ci big block for the monster. If we can make it fit lol, but damn it where theres a will there is a way!!!!!

Also need opinions on my DD, I hate the 20" wheels it came with and I want to replace them, but cant decide between the following:

I'm with tech. The cage instal looks ok minus the a pillars. Looks like the builder doesn't know how to remove a dash or just got lazy. A ford BB is no wider than a DOHC modular. It's a few inches longer though.

I'm confused, you sold your old Cobra because of salary but you drive a GT and are about to build out this car. Why not look for a 5.0 and be done with it.

I like the last set of wheels.

Looks like that Cobra has a long road ahead of it lol...and of all the ugly wheels you have picked out the last ones look best IMO.

Best of luck with the Cobra build. You must post a video when the project is completed. :)

I sold my old Cobra when I left my 55k a year job to become a private, kind of a huge pay difference. That was three years ago, I have since moved up the ladder. But as for that GT, I got that for 9k, it was cheap and available. The cobra up top I picked after I returned from Afghanistan over a year ago, but it has been a slow builld progress. Everything in those pics is all it came with, no body no interior no nada. SO collecting random pieces is taking time.

My old cobra was a TR 04.

As for the cage, well it came with the car and is Stamped NHRA 7 second legal, so if it looks ugly I could care less, but I do agree who ever put it in should have gone through the damn dash. Not worth the price ot alter it though, when I need so much more for the car.
