Amsoil Engine/Trans flush

Anyone use it?

I had a great success with this formula on my Audi since it is prone to sludge with conventional oil, I run Amsoil European synthetic by the way. My real question is that I want to use this on my 96 GT but I am concerned. The reason I am concerned is because I got the oil pan powder coated inside/outside and I do not know how this product will react to it? I know this product is great at cleaning metal surfaces inside the engine but what about powder coated surfaces? any suggestions...

NasteeNate,

As an AMSOIL Dealer I researched what you were asking for. The answer is the Engine/Transmission Flush will not hurt your powder coated oil pan. The flush is a detergent not a solvent. This will not cause the powder coat to break down. Hope this helps. Please shoot me a PM if you have any further questions.

Did you use the Flush?
