So does that mean the "8R3Z-A" block is correct for the Aluminator? Just realized FRPP did actually discontinue it, although there are still some out there.

Just want to keep that information handy - if I switch over, prefer to start with the bare block!!

I believe you need a few more posts before you can PM.

We do ship to Canada, but will be very pricey. However, we can ship these anywhere south of the border no charge, if you able to pick somewhere in the states.

Also, please note from the post a couple months ago these are now all $3550

Looking for an Aluminator SC long block (I think p/n is M-6007-A46SC?) for my '04 Cobra. Has to withstand 16-18 lbs boost - is that okay?

Your price delivered to a dealer in 92618-ish ZIP code?

Yes, you did- thank you. And thanks for the Aluminator "shortblock" cost. However, I need a quote for the long block with the new-style heads for a supercharged Cobra (I think p/n is M-6007-A46SC?). ~Gene

Is there a direct replacement Aluminator shortblock for a 2002 Mustang GT that has a Procharger S/C on it?

The timing cover comments have me all confused.

    Thank you for any info.

You'll need for an 03-04 Cobra. These will work on just about any 4.6 iron block application
The other version is for Aluminum blocks, and has one more or one less timing cover hole(I forget which one)

I just got slightly confused, so the block that FRPP is using for the "aluminator" has been discontinued? So they will still produce and sell the short and long blocks but not the bare block? If so then thats friggin dum! Now did you also say that the bare block was a modified 05-up block or was it the 03 mach 1 block?

    Yeah, weird!

It's the '05-up 4.6 block that was in the Aviator, Mustang, etc...

Iv'e worked for ford for many years and I have found that its all about numbers lol. FRPP are probably not selling as many bare blocks as compared to short or long blocks.

I know it will be a direct bolt in but since its lower compression how much power will i gain or loose with my factory gt heads on the 2v? I dont want to cam it just yet...lol 3500 bucks is a great price btw..::beer:

Just a heads up, I'm not what these had from the factory for compression, but this one is 9.8 to 1, which I am guessing very close to stock

9.8 is the stock compression. Thanks for double checking though, I appreciate it. The one you linked to is what I was referring to.

    you guys close at 5pm?
