Im curious as to what mods and power you guys are putting down with a stock longblock.

I'd be looking at doing:

Posi Ported Eaton
2.8 upper 2lb lower
Dragon T/B & PL
ARH 1 3/4 x 3 longtubes
3 inch O/R Prochamber
3 inch Mac SRA Catback


Anyone close to this setup? On E-85 as well?

Posi port here, 2.76/4lb, slp lts, slp x pipe, lm1's, dragon tb/plenum.

My dyno was on a 90 something degree day with 80% humidity and made 505Hp/525tq on the 3rd pull, without really being cooled down much, I'm pretty happy with that to say the least lol

Mods in sig, put down 481 with stock h/e and stock h/e tank. Really need a lower, and a dragon tb/pl and I should be well over 500.

My posi ported eaton made 550 hp and 570 tq with full bolt ons and stock motor....long tubes,bap ,60 lb injectors ,posi ported dragon and plenum tuned at fast lane 18 psi 2.76 and 4lb lower,20 deg timing on pump gas

492/522 tq at 15.8 lbs and had Lil drop off on top think because of too long of belt , at 20* timing and was 99* in the shop that day Dynojet dyno
I'm thinking mid length headers and maybe 6lb lower in future to get Lil more
And on 93 shell pump gas

Damn that TB/Plenum must really be restricting you. :eek: I only have a 2.8 pulley with full exhaust mods. Hi flo catted X-pipe to be specific and I made 465hp/485tq.

Some of these results from porting makes me want to jump on upgrading.:thumbsup: But some others make me skeptical and think I should wait a long time for KB or Whipple.:dw: So many mixed opinions. Tuners I know say it's a waste of time/money. Dunno what to do since I do want to go faster, but can't afford KB/Whipple now.:shrug: Porting is reachable.

However, If you look back at the thread you questioned you will see that the post where a member brought up Posi's name remain.

The agreement was simple, if a member ask about a specific brand then the other would stay out.
If it is just a generic question then both are free to answer.

I would like you all to quit pushing buttons and just enjoy the site.

This thread wasn't made to argue with staff or anything like that.

I might be tossing a stockish Cobra motor in my car for the next year and I wanted to see what the average power was across the board. I can make money buy selling the 5.4 and the conversion kit and putting a stock unit in its place.

Also, Brian has some good information and I wanted him to post it in here but I forgot to send him a PM about it.

I would've brought it up in the other thread but since that OP was asking about Steggy's product I knew I couldnt.

This thread wasnt put up for any other intent.
