You're not even an entertaining troll.

    Again, $50,000.

The current hybrids/Energis aren't hot potatoes year 6 through 9...why would this be any differently?

50k for the ludicrous edition? Doubt it.

Im sure the Super Cobra Jet Mach E will be big cash.

Who said anything about a Ludicrous edition or anything of the sort?

Is your reading comprehension just that poor, or do you have little voices in your head?

Why does Conroe, TX has such a low average income?

Maybe Ford will call it a Shakerz hood and it will be the Miley Cyrus edition Mach E?

It's probably been said, but this indicates to me that they are expanding the Mustang brand to be a standalone product, meaning it could spawn a variation of other body styles like a 4 door model possibly. I dont necessarily think that would be a bad idea as long as they dont water down the brand and try to build a Mustang van or a small Mustang hatchback although that would likely be fun to drive.

The only thing I can see positive out of this epic stupidity on Ford's part is that MAYBE it will convince GM that doing a "Corvette" SUV (yes there are rumors!) is a batshit stupid idea.

I hope it fails as badly as the Edsel.

Although I understand what you’re saying and I’m actually thinking this could be a Pacifica replacement for my wife and 3 kids, the Mustang has done damn well on its own for 50+ years and I don’t think they should risk its legacy on a ‘Mustang line’ of SUVs and other non Mustangs.
If the Flex would’ve had sliding doors my wife would have one in place of the Pacifica and if the made a 4-door RWD ‘4-door Mustang’ I’d be in one instead of my Hellcat Charger.
My point is I think we’re agreeing that we support making more enthusiast options.
That said, I can’t really argue with the current F150 and Mustang offerings plus this Mach and the RWD based AWD Explorer are improvements.

It's not so much what I want but just a guess as to what they could be up to. Like how Dodge made the Ram a standalone brand and then you have BMW making Mini a standalone brand as well as a few others I cant think of right now. Done right it could expand the popularity and sales of the Mustang moniker and possibly give way to even more high performance Mustangs as I'm sure it would change the budgeting for various models quite a bit.

Like it or not, it’s coming. I’ve basically replaced all my yard tools (besides the mower)with electric, and they almost outperform my gas stuff. I’m not talking cheap ass box store crap either. As far as the name, well...

No thank you... Looks like a generic crossover with a mustangish frontend. Wheres that Ranger with the 99-04 front?

meh, I have choices. I’ve been waiting for the 2020s with the 7.3L as we run the 6.2L now and like the trucks. I can’t say for sure I won’t buy the Superduty as it’s my favorite but man, Ford has pissed me off with everything they have done in the last 5 years. This new “Mustang” is the cherry on top. I don’t feel like supporting stupidity and so far I haven’t. Last few purchases have been Chevs.
