on a side note i fixed my idle dougwg had some "top secret" trix that work!!! Im still not gonna say its completely fixed untill a couple of days of driving but I get less than 1v without the tb floating off the idle screw
As far as I know it's only used to hold the throttle plate open a certain distance. It is not an idle adjustment screw like on a carb. The idle is controlled by the IAC or Idle Air Control Valve.Originally posted by jonas

George....the TPS is just a sensor of to tell the ECU on how much the blade is open.
