yea two months ago a new pa alternator died on me and killed the fan fuse and the fan. Tune was not straight from vmp so I took it to a local tuner. vmp was a 2 hr drive. I was tired of waiting.
That gives me hope. My eventual plan is a big bore stroker with the 2.9. I'm guessing that's pump gas? Are you going to try E85 or race gas at some point?
