I know that it has been widely disseminated that if you are running the new Aeromotive Stealth 340lph Fuel Pumps, whether in a Fore, or other billet fuel hat designed for Walbro 255s or stock fuel hangars; that you have to de-pin the connector and switch the “+” and “-“ wires in the connector itself to get the right connection on the Aeromotive pumps. Now for the note - **THIS ONLY APPLIES TO THE AEROMOTIVE PUMPS THAT HAVE A WHITE COLORED INLET SIDE!!** If you have recently purchased these pumps, there is a possibility that the pumps you bought have a RED INLET SIDE. If you have one of these, then you DO NOT need to de-pin the connector and switch the wires. Aeromotive realized this issue on the WHITE INLET pumps, and fixed it with the new run of pumps with the RED INLET. Nothing destructive will happen; you just won’t have fuel pressure and the pumps will be running backwards (blowing instead of sucking up fuel). If you have already put the tank in and filled up with fuel like I did, you can just swap the wires in the trunk. Please cut and solder your connections!
