How much power will an a1000 support on e85? I am curious because they are coming out with a drop-in pump/hat combo and it seems like it would be neat setup if it is capable. I also think they are making a eliminator pump version but that will be out of my budget.

My tuner maxed out a A1000 at 830rwhp.. 30% of that for E85 and that's still on the max side of the pump.. This is if I were to pulley it down obviously.. if I were to run the same boost I am now I wouldn't have a problem..

it's just a pump- so if that's the least of your worries per your setup I think your doing good, btw I love the look of your car

yea it is just a pump.. the rest of my fuel system is good to go. When the time comes for me to run E85, so basically when I move to a place that has more of it, I'll switch out the pump. Thanks for the compliment on the car, I can't wait to get it repainted then it'll b perfect ahaha..

Just dyno'd with E85 and a A1000 , 40 psi base fuel and I made 750 whp on a Mustang dyno with no pressure drop at all.
I think 800 whp would be easy.

I'm going bigger so I'm actually selling the A1000, but I was pleased with it

Can't figure out what I am doing different. We just maxed my A1000 out at about 90 PSi with a 100 shot running E85. Its on a LSx iron 408 with ETP 245cc heads and a 4.0 liter Whipple. Also have ID2000 injectors, about 221 lbs per hr. Here is a few dyno passes as we got it to at 969/1111. BTW we are running a cogged front drive on the Whipple and she holds steady at 23 lbs through the pull.

Here are some shots of the fuel pump. Running a -10AN forward and splitting it to 2 -8AN to the rails,. Got it regulated off on the backside feeding the OEM -6AN for the return.

Takes balls to hit the button

Well the A1000 is advertised at 1200 hp and mine is right there at the flywheel. The eliminator advertises 1400. I have been looking at the Pro Series which is advertised up to 1700. Once the LSx build gets spec'd out we may just go for the Atomic Hex drive unit. That would get us to 2500 hp.
