I am about to order an Aeroforce Interceptor for my new 5.0 and I am wondering:

  • are folks having an issues with this gauge on their 5.0?
does it show water fuel pressure and air/fuel ratio?

Thanks; please post pics of your set ups.

water temp and A/F are shown

fuel pressure doesn't work; you can't even datalog with Livelink yet. I was told that the regulator being in the tank and the new variable voltage fuel system is slowing things down. Obviously with a real Ford scan tool you can read fuel pressure.

Received my SOS pod today. Question - does the cord disconnect from the back of the Interceptor? I am trying to understand how the cable will fit through the back of the pod hole as the end that connects to the ODBII is quite large.

Can someone tell me all the parameters this gauge will display using on a 5.0?

The above list is not the list for our car, it's under Platform 4 listed below. I do have a few questions though. Numbers 33 & 34 show banks 1 & 2 AFR so does number 32 (Commanded Air Fuel Ratio) show the average of both both banks? I put number 32 on and it shows around 14.4 at idle and around 12.4 under throttle, are these AFR's about what they should be? Also, number 12 (Ignition timing advance), what should it be showing for that (I have a Bama 93 race tune)? I just got my gauge and trying to get it set up and figured out, lol. Thanks.

My timing advance is running about 27-28 degrees in the upper RPM range with a Bama 93R tune. The A/F looks about right. I'm not sure how Bama sets up thier target A/F and I am not sure how the OEM wideband interprets A/F with E10 gas. Stoich for 100% gasoline is 14.64 and Stoich for E10 is 14.08.

My PCM information is from a Dashhawk and not the Aeroforce.
