Advice on heads/cams combo

I'm in the process of building up my 01. Last year me and my son replaced the shortblock with a forged teskid after we spun a bearing due to a slightly bent crank (didn't form a good enough seal going through the timing cover).

During the job I noticed the valves looked like they were not sealing well and the heads just looked tired.

My local pull a part just happens to have a lot of aviators sitting around so I pulled some clean DC heads off an 05 for $120.

My question is, should i use the 01 cams?

Go with the stock aviators? (im under the impression they're the same as mach/termi).

I'm aware the 98s are considered the best of the oem cams but they seem to be getting hard to come by.

So far we've done all the work ourselves and this is still a deep money pit. I've seen people drop 5k into just the heads. I'm trying to avoid that.

Looking for the best middle of the road approach to building the heads for a small SC.

Any advice is appreciated.
