Thinking of trying the stang on a road course.
Stock GT suspension, except for whiteline adj sway bars
and Rousch upper/lower rear control arms.

Are any of the adj strut/shocks close to stock at full soft?
(not lowering, replacing springs, or going to substantially
stiffer strut/shock, street comfort is king for this car)

It looks like the Koni's are the only one's that can be
used with stock springs, but I suspect the softest setting is
still going to be way stiffer than stock.

Also, has anyone used the FR adj strut/shock with stock height?

OH, btw, I have a 14 auto with rousch TVS.....

I just installed the Koni Yellows and Eibach springs. The Konis are adjusted to one half turn from their softest setting...a bit firmer than stock at that setting...fine for me. I haven’t tried adjusting the firmness yet (for autocross) to see how much stiffer the ride becomes.

Koni yellow shocks and struts maintain a pretty comfortable ride when set to a soft setting, though they are still a bit firmer than stock. Ive been running them for year and love them, even on a pretty aggressive lowering spring, I have to qualms.

Ok, thanks for the replies. A bit firmer I could probably live with.
I am extremely happy with the street ride now, so hate to ruin that
just for track use once or twice.

I'm on koni yellows and find the ride to be slightly more compliant than it was prior to the switch.
Keep in mind that My car has the Brembo brake/handling package which is firmer than the stock GT setup which is way too soft IMHO.
I'm running the OEM front springs in combination with BMR-SP012 rear springs.
This compensates nicely for the added weight of the TVS on the front end.
Car is nice and level without looking too slammed in the weeds.

Koni yellows on ford k springs here and i feel on the roads here, its pretty rough even on softest. Keep in mind, i have everything else upgraded for suspension as well. Watts link made a difference however pertaining to ride quality.

Yeah, the watts link definitely helped soften the ride for my car on bumpier roads. Not to mention how it helped out tremendously with handling and putting down power when coming out of corners.

The FR tokico's are decent if you want ride comfort and if you plan on tracking the car. A step above that are the Koni's and Bilstein which you'll end up sacrificing some ride comfort for handling, after that you get into the dampers.

I ran my stock shocks/struts with p springs on my Boss for 3 years and they performed very well at the track.

I was all set to pull the trigger on the Tokico's, but found out they don't make them anymore.
Did find a set on close-out for $550, but no warantee and if one is damaged in any way, you can't
get them anymore.

Going to give the Strange single adjustables a shot. Figure if they don't work for crap on a road
course, maybe they could help 60' and they do go slightly softer than stock strut/shock,
supposedly.
