Here is my numbers with 42lb injectors
before Accufab and after. The first run I
dropped from 473 HP with the now 10:1
A/F ratio, I could tune it to about 11:5 ratio and
be at about 490HP but I think I will stick
to this conservative tune. The accufab was worth
about 19hp.

Peter, how much boost are you actually seeing with the powerpipe, etc.? Did the AFM pipe clear the hood (I am assuming it's a 4" pipe) or did you have to notch it? Your HP looks good but actually your RWTQ looks a little low, esp. considering you have long tubes on the car. Did the tuner have any comments about that? Just curious. Looks like the Accufab was WELL worth the investment from the power gains you are showing there. All and all it looks pretty good for a 10:1 A/F ratio. Congrats.

Allntrl- I had the car dynoed at a local shop, Mustang
Magic. The car allways had a low torque number,
I really dont know why the torque is so low relative
to HP, the owner of the shop owns an 03 and lost
torque when he installed LT's- but he puts down
475HP and about the same amount of torque.
My main concern was a very conservative tune, so I
guess I lost sight of the low torque number.
I see about 10 lbs of boost but not till over 6200 RPM.
I did have to make a small notch in the hood for the pipe.
The throtle response with the Accufab is much improved.

Peter.

What RPM do you run the car to before your MSD starts pulling spark? (I'm assuming you would have it set up that way) :read:

If you start pulling timing that early and your running it at a 10:1 A/F ratio then you should be plenty on the safe side, good luck!

Looks good Peter! I may look into one for my car. Well, when I get it back on the road. I'm almost there.............

Where did you get it from?

The fellow fom the speed shop called me and said
he wanted me to come back in to dyno without
the FMU connected, because he said I have 42lb
injectors-I might give this a try. Does anybody else with
a 96-98 Cobra not use an FMU(with 42lb injectors).

Seen it done but only after burning a chip to calibrate for it.

Booyah- I found out that Vortech does make a 3:1
recal kit for the FMU. I put it in and I can feel a definite
increase in torque. I will bring it back to the dyno next
week to see my HP an A/F ratio.
